Ely Cathedral: The Lady Chapel The English Cathedral exhibition by Peter Marlow
The Lady Chapel was built in 1349 with elaborate decoration and stained glass. It was vandalised twice by iconoclasts who destroyed the stautes and painted plaster in in the niches 1539 and the stained glass in 1643.
